Carl’s Jr. isn’t known for a signature burger.
They’re known for a signature flavor.

A very bold, very saucy, very unsubtle flavor.

We invented a character named CJ (lol like Carl’s Jr. lol) that brought an undeniably unsubtle ‘tude to the champion of chargrillediest burgers in New Zealand. I mean... check that studded burger earring.😮‍💨🔥


Spot  We Don’t Do Subtle⬇
   CJ shows all of New Zealand that Carl’s Jr. does burgers with onion rings on ‘em, sauce with Jim Beam bourbon in it, and fries swimming in gooey cheese and crispy bacon. They don’t do subtle. 


Spot  Burgers For Every Occassion⬇
   CJ reminds every Kiwi that no matter what you and the crew are doing, we’ve got diabolically delicious burgers that’ll pair perfectly.



Spot  Big Angus Range⬇
   CJ unsubtly touts all the characteristics that make Carl’s Jr.’s Big Angus Range of premium burgers a better choice than other burger joints’ sad little patties.



6 second “CJ-isms”⬇
   Our quick hitting 6’s saw CJ saying unsubtle one liners aimed to entice customers on the hunt for more flavor in their lives.




OOH //

Continuing the mission to be as flavorfully unsubtle as possible, we used the iconic Carls Jr. happy star logo as an asterisk so we’d never be accidentally misunderstood. That’d be like soooo not unsubtle.

   CJ’s blinged out hand shows off our food while our happy star turns our headlines into craveably clarifed quips.



SOCIAL //

Of course we couldn’t dial it back on social, that’d be totally unsubtle. We kept it 100 (percent angus beef) with up close and personal burgers and a side of CJ swag.
